In this episode we have the pleasure of interviewing Dave Henderson on the show, and Dave is the CEO of Stronghold Group.
Dave Henderson, born and raised in Philadelphia. Graduated from West Point in 2007 as a Field Artillery Officer and later completed two tours to Iraq and one tour to Afghanistan.
During those deployments he received significant exposure to the federal contracting process, which led him to found Stronghold Group in 2015. Stronghold Group loves discovering and bringing the newest medical innovations to the federal market. They take pride in disrupting market norms so that end users receive a better product or service.
In this episode, Dave shares with us his “Rule of 17 No’s” and the importance of letting go of instant gratification in sales. He discusses how recall vs recognition in your clients mind and perception of your brand is critical.
Dave also shares with us the importance of creating true value over and above your standard offering, creating a relationship versus transactional experience for your clients. He talks about how to create multiple synergies that drive customer loyalty.
Dave also dives into work life balance and how early on he learned that when you re on your death bed, no-one will remember the work you did, but they will remember the relationships, love and impact you had on your friends and families.
