Austin has owned multiple business throughout his career as well as ran multiple companies as an executive in order to help them grow and innovate their systems.

Austin is very passionate about building strong foundations of a company in order to build upon.

He currently runs a development company building affordable housing throughout the west coast and expanding to the south and southeast. He has also had the privilege of serving his country in the Army as a medic for 12 years.

Austin shares with us the secrets to how he has been able to build powerful and caring teams.

One of those secrets is complete transparency into what is going on in the company. Another is giving your team members autonomy in their jobs. However you must also ensure they have the proper training and tools to be successful. Without that, you will never be able to have autonomy and get the results you want.

Austin shares with us how he finds the best team members for his team. And it starts with “Throwing out the resume”. Then focusing on character, passion and ability to communicate.

Auston also talks about the importance on focusing on the basics. Never forget why you started the company and how you gained clients in the first place, as you scale, ensure the customer service component is not sacrificed.
