Greg founded SYNEXXUS Inc. seventeen years ago after retiring from a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy as a Strike/Fighter Pilot deploying from six different aircraft carriers during four combat tours.

SYNEXXUS Inc.’s product line spans complex system design and requirement formulation to the manufacturing of rugged data distribution systems, cyber secure architectures, integrated systems for armored vehicles, stealth patrol ships, and industrial enterprise solutions.

Their field operations span from Canada to Europe and the Middle East to the Indo-Pacific.

In this episode, Greg shares with us how investing in his team has paid off tremendously in increased loyalty, culture and productivity.  He shares with us some of the tips that he made to invest in his peoples lives, education and professional advancement.

Greg also shares his “Decency of Respect” concept in forging a culture where mistakes are allowed to happen, and even encouraged. 

Greg shares some of his hiring practices, specifically what he looks for in a candidate.  He also shares is “1 Degree of Freedom” rule – if a team member already knows, likes and trusts someone – than he shall too.  Another practice that has paid off big for his company.
