High Performance CEO

High Performers and Low Performers Cannot Co-Exist

This show is made with one purpose, to help you create an autonomous and engaged high performance organization. Where we deliver you proven strategies and expert interviews on how to drive significant profit growth, create an ownership culture and give you the time freedom you always wanted from your business.

In this episode we have the pleasure of interviewing Josh Balster on the show, and Josh is the CEO of Pigler Automation.

In 2004, Josh joined the start-up environment at Avitus Group, a Montana based business services company. There he climbed the ladder to become their VP of Sales and shortly after the President and CEO. He lead the company through it’s ultimate sale in April of 2020.

In March of 2022, Josh completed the purchase of Pigler Automation, a Longmont Colorado based process controls automation engineering firm, in partnership with his brother Chris and father Ken. He has spent that past year optimizing the operations of the company and building a strong platform for growth and scalability.

Josh shares with us the simple statement that is the basis for the amazing culture and team he has been able to create at Pigler: “High Performers and Low Performers Cannot Co-Exist”.

Josh shares his secrets on how he has been able to create an environment where high performers want to stay and thrive and low performers want to leave. Without the type of environment that Josh is referring to, you push away high performers and attract and retain low performers. These are all tangible, actionable items to implement in your business.

Josh also shares with us the importance of a clear and inspiring vision and mission to act as a north star for your team, and the benefits related.
