This show is made with one purpose, to help you create an autonomous and engaged high performance organization. Where we deliver you proven strategies and expert interviews on how to drive significant profit growth, create an ownership culture and give you the time freedom you always wanted from your business.

In this episode we have the pleasure of interviewing Howard Pearl on the show, and Howard is the CEO of CARS, Charitable Adult Rides and Services.

Howard has had an illustrious career being in the CEO chair or Founder/Business Owner for over 30 years in 9 different companies. Just a wealth of knowledge and experience.

In fact, Howard was a San Diego Business Journal 2022 CEO of the Year Award Finalist.

In this episode, Howard shares with us his secrets to being such a successful CEO, one of which is humility in all things. In today’s business age, the companies that are most successful have a leader that is successful at creating an atmosphere of humility, starting with him or her.

Howard shares his “Everyone gets a piece of the tip jar” mentality – meaning that he has crafted a sharing program such that when the non-profit does well, everyone wins. This truly helps him create an atmosphere where everyone thinks like an owner in his company.

This gentlemen has had 0 turnover in his salaried staff since taking over 6 years ago. That is an impressive statistic in a 120+ person company!
