Naimish has held various roles in private equity firms ranging from Senior Advisor to Managing Director to Investment Analyst and serving on Board of Directors.

Naimish is currently serves on the Board of Directors of Jax Kar Wash, a TRP Capital portfolio company. He also is an Adjunct Professor in the Entrepreneurship Department at the Ross School of Business (University of Michigan).

In this episode, Naimish walks us through the evolution of the role of the CEO and how the role changes at key points of about $10M (Doer), $25M (Manager) and $50M (Leader). He discusses the importance for the CEO to be vulnerable and humble enough to recognize that the company needs a new level of leader at these very pivotal points. This is absolute gold and marries up 100% with all of my consulting over the years.

Naimish then further walks us through some great lessons learned from his over 37 acquisitions during his tenure at Tru Dental. How he was able to become a disciplined acquirer.

As if that is not enough, Naimish then shares with us his secret to creating an unstoppable winning culture.
